Sales Engineer

Piller TSC is actively seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer, reporting to the VP of Sales & Project Management. We’re looking for someone with a “Can-Do!” attitude that is ambitious, curious, proactive, excited, and positive about helping customers and contributing to the success of the company.

Key responsibilities

Find and develop new markets and applications for heat recovery with Mechanical Vapor Compression
Engage current and potential customers to acquire new leads and opportunities
Review customer specifications and requests for quotes
Regular follow-up of quotes and documenting status in CRM
Size and price PILLER Fans, Blowers, and Compressors
Prepare and deliver customer proposals
Obtain motor and ancillary equipment quotes from vendors
Travel up to 40% to existing and new customers

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in customer facing roles in Sales, Engineering or Project Management
Previous experience with heat transfer and/or thermal processes preferred
Previous experience with rotating equipment preferred
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
